I just wanted to take a quick moment to say Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to all my loyal readers and followers. I’ve been saying that I feel as if someone removed about 10 days of December from the calendar, as I blinked and here we are at the end of the month already. I felt like I barely had time to get into the spirit of the season, despite the fact that this has always been my favorite time of year.

Earlier this month I did take a few days to visit friends in upstate New York and then wandered back across Vermont and New Hampshire. Albany got about 7 inches of snow while I was there, and it flurried in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, so that made me very happy!

Back here in Massachusetts, we had a temperature of 58 degrees F yesterday on the 23rd, dropping down to only12 degrees by midnight. We were not expected to have any snow at all from this crazy storm, but there were some wild, wind-driven snow flurries last night and now on the afternoon of the 24th I just looked out my window and it’s snowing like mad. God always seems to know what I want for Christmas!
I hope you all have beautiful holidays, filled with much-needed laughs and good cheer, and most importantly, a healthy New Year filled with lots of travel, time with friends and family, or whatever makes you happiest.

And a very merry Christmas to you, Matt!
